Zach Mitchell and his lover Angelo Green are headed to Paris (along with their Coda friends Matt and Jared) to attend Jon and Cole’s wedding. Matt will have to face Jared’s former lover, and Angelo will have to spend an entire week with Zach’s ex-boyfriend. Between Matt’s jealousy and Angelo’s temper, Zach thinks they’ll be lucky to get through the week without one of the grooms being punched. But Zach soon realizes he should worry less about Angelo and more about himself. Facing the bittersweet memories of his past and his own guilt over breaking Jon’s heart is harder than expected, but Zach will have to find a way to leave his past behind if he’s to have any hope of the future he wants with Angelo.

Sequel to The Letter Z.

(Please note that although Paris A to Z is ostensibly about Jon and Cole’s wedding, the book really isn’t about them. It’s Zach and Angelo’s book. If you read it expecting to see a lot of Jon and Cole, I’m afraid you’ll be disappointed.)

I absolutely love the whole Coda series! It must be your writing style that makes me feel like I’ve known Matt and Jared, Zach and Angelo, and Jonathan and Cole forever. I have laughed, cried, and enjoyed all their adventures. I’m so happy you are continuing the series, never thought I’d be so impatient for June to get here!

Another fantastic book, just impossible to put down, how do you do that?
Only arrived lunchtime today, read the Letter Z in about half an hour, just couldn’t stop and am currently plowing through Paris A to Z at 1am after being out on the razz. Got to save a bit for tomorrow.
Marie you are such a wonderfull writer, make me laugh, cry, melt and fret, long may you continue your work. 🙂

    Hi Marie!
While i don’t normally leave reviews, after finishing Paris A to Z, I felt compelled to share my thoughts on the Coda series of books. OMG how i’ve loved reading each and every one of the books in this series. You have such a way with your writing. Each of your stories are so wonderfully well written. I have never felt so connected with the characters in a story quite like those in this series. One minute I was laughing my backside off along with them, the next I was in tears, feeling their struggle as they attempt to connect and solidify their love for each other. The passion and tenderness they share in the bedroom leaves nothing to the imagination and further emphasizes their unique love. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work. I truely hope you will continue writing books in this series, exploring the lives of these characters even further. For now, though, I definitely will be reading your other works. I know from experience, I will not be disappointed.

I can’t tell you how much I loved every single book from the Coda series! Yes, I’ve read all of them and enjoyed every line! I fell in love with Angelo, as well. He’s a wonderful character, with many issues, but with a loving and understanding partner, who is willing to help him overcome those issues. All of your characters are so complex in such a real way and they live such real lives, with real everyday-normal problems, that at times I find myself thinking about them as my friends… real friends! And find myself struggling with them. I want you to know how much I appreciate your work. Sometimes I can’t wait to finish reading a book only because I can’t wait to get rid of it… With your books it’s a completely different story: I can’t stop reading because I feel dragged to the end, I want to know what will happen and so I keep reading every single word, feeling like I’m there with “them”… I get the feeling of the story building up while I’m reading… I wish I could explain myself better, I could say so much… but I’d have to use my own language: Italian 
So, I came to the conclusion that you SHOULD write some more about the boys, though I understand that Angelo and Zach’s story has come to a full circle with Angelo overcoming his issues and Zach finally finding a closure with his past. Maybe you can plan something for Jon and Cole? That’d be simply great!
    Keep the good work up!

Hi Maria, and thanks for your comment. I have little bits of Jon and Cole’s future in my head, but I’m not sure they’ll ever make a full book. I’m toying with the ideas of writing some little vignettes and posting them on the site. I’ll have to see what happens after GayRomLit.

By the way, your English is perfect! I would never have known it wasn’t your first language if you hadn’t told me. I was recently in Italy, and I should apologize to your entire country for how much I butchered your language. 😛

      Thanks again!

Thank you so much! My husband would say “no worries, mate!” (yeah, Aussie…) for butchering Italian… We have already so many Italians (especially the youngest generation) doing exactly the same thing, but with no such an excuse as being foreigners 🙂 Besides, we do have a tendency to try and understand/help tourists, so you shouldn’t feel bad at all…
I’m so happy about those “bits” you have in mind 😉 I’m really looking forward to read them. I read a lot and I recently noticed that I’m becoming more and more picky about the way a book is written. Sometimes I get turned off by mistakes, bad writing or lack of reality! But there’s no way I can get bored or turned off while reading your books… they’re simply GREAT! And I can easily say that it’s a very interesting way to improve my English 😛
        Take care.

I just got done with Strawberries for Dessert (my first one of yours) I loved it! Only since I am totally in love with Cole and Jon being together I want to read this one, though I suppose I better stick a bit more with the series… I’ll have to wait until I get more money though… being a college student even e-books take up my money especially when I found just found a terrific author (yes you 🙂 )

    Hi Marie,
I just finished Promises last week–absolutely loved it. Something about your writing style–so perfect. I really grew to like these characters–actually found myself crying once or twice. So easy to read, yet a profound depth to the characters.
So I just started A to Z, but as I’m looking at the series, only a few are in paperback–I hate to admit that I don’t have a kindle, and don’t really plan on getting one anytime soon since I have a huge stack of books waiting to be read–how can I get a hard copy/paperback of these other books? Are they coming out soon–please don’t make me buy a kindle….lol! Keep up the good work…..you are the next Augusten Burroughs with a modern day Tales of the City series (definitely someone will see that and put them all to a film series/cable network series–crazy not to).

Thanks Jeff! I’m so glad you’re enjoying the books!

Some of the series is only available in ebook at this time because they’re novellas (not full novel length). At some point, I hope The Letter Z and Paris A to Z will be printed together in one volume, but at this point, they’re only available as ebooks. You can get them in pdf, which would still mean reading them on your computer, but you at least wouldn’t have to buy a Kindle. 🙂

For what it’s worth, you can easily skip from A to Z to Strawberries, and then read TLZ and Paris afterward.

Anyway, hope that helps. I hope you enjoy the rest of the series. And as far as a them becoming a TV series? Man, I sure wouldn’t mind! 🙂

      Thanks again1

Loved the voyeur stuff and I felt your love scenes were more explicit/descriptive…whatever word works 😉 You can’t get too explicit for me. Can’t speak for others. I have embraced my inner perv.

Downloaded the book at like 12 am last night because I HAD to have it, and finished it this afternoon. It was soooo good! I cringed a bit in the beginning with the whole Zachary voyeur thing (for some reason it doesn’t normally bother me but because Zachary and Angelo feel like “friends”, I was a bit weirder out). I laughed and was a bit teary eyed. Can’t wait for the next one!

I have just finished the book, After sitting here for a couple of hours (I could NOT and WOULD not put it down haha) and, I actually have no words that can explain how utterly amazing it was. Nothing I say will do it any justice.

I’ve laughed out loud! I’ve cried! I’ve done both at the same time!!

An amazing book that was SO worth that wait.

I still can’t figure out who I love the most…I think “Matt” then it’s “No it’s Angelo” then I’m all “Nope it’s Jared, No wait, Zach, NOOOOO it’s Cole AAAARGH Jonathan” I just cannot choose!!

I do Kinda love George too though, I can’t leave him out!! Lol.

I LOVED the Cole/Angelo friendship too, that was just…perfect!!!

    Amazing, utterly amazing!!

    KINDLE info:

Forgive me if not my place to post this but for the person asking about Kindle file from Amazon, if you purchase your ebook from Dreamspinner press, you receive PDF, prc, lit, ebpub formats (so great to get all formats). You can simply email the PRC file to your Kindle and voila! The PDF will work on Kindle but may be funky–the PRC works great on Kindle.

Ok, really not trying to stalk you with so many posts today but I just started an “emergency re-read” of “A to Z” to get myself mentally prepared for Wednesday, and I remembered a question I’ve meant to ask you several times:

When Ruby tells Ang “he is a bringer of life” clearly she means she brings life to Zach, but I’ve wondered if it also means Ang might have something to do with helping Cole become a father…helping him and Jon get a baby or something(?)

Nothing in particular. My husband often buys me flowers on release day. When A to Z was released, he brought me flowers and a card. The card was signed not only by him, but also by Matt, Jared, Zach and Angelo. Matt said, “You go girl!” Zach and Jared both wrote nice little thank you messages, and Angelo wrote, “What the fuck ever!” It was great! I have the card hanging on my office wall. For Strawberries for Dessert, he of course brought me a bottle of Arbor Mist. But other than that, I don’t necessarily celebrate. Mostly I sit around being neurotic and doing my best to not look at reviews. 🙂

LOL, I got the general picture 🙂 congrats on house/move, I am sure you are swamped but how fun. They day Angelo replied, I was in the middle of preparing for our big holiday party/dinner, and was super-grumpy, so hearing from him made my day (((Angelo))). Happy Holidays, Marie 😉

Hey Marie…again…can’t tell you how much I look forward to this book. Also can’t wait for the short story on Valentine’s Day. I read “One More Soldier” over Thanksgiving and pretty much came undone LOL! My bestie is reading your stuff now (think she has posted on this site)–she read it the next night and was a mess!

At any rate, happy holidays to you, and (((Angelo))) a hug for Angelo 😉

Marie’s buried under a pile of unpacked boxes (she just moved to a new house), but she’s glad to hear you’re excited about Paris. Happy holidays to you, too!

What Angelo should have said is, I’m buried under a pile of packed boxes that are waiting to be unpacked. I guess he’s as flustered by the move as I am! 🙂
