Guest: Ethan Stone!
My guest today is my good friend Ethan Stone! Ethan has a new book out today, Wolf Moon.

When college student Jack Coleman meets Derek Malone at a party, it’s mutual lust at first sight. Lies and secrets almost derail the relationship, but they face the problems head on, and it isn’t long before Jack and Derek decide to take their relationship to the next level. That’s when things get complicated.
It turns out Derek and several other people Jack thought he knew are werewolves… and so is Jack. In fact, his unusual birthmark brands him as a Chosen One, a werewolf of great power destined to be alpha. But Jack isn’t sure he’s cut out to be a leader. When a pack rival, Elias Fairchild, kidnaps Derek to force Jack’s hand, Jack has to make up his mind: Will he deny his newfound heritage or risk it all to save Derek’s life?
And now, I’ll turn the floor over to Ethan.

Also, check out this guest blog post Ethan Stone did on Jadette Paige’s blog. Partly I point you there because Ethan’s a good friend, but partly it’s because he said such nice things about me.
For those who like a random dose of man candy, I now have a Tumblr. Feel free to check it out.
I hope to have news for you soon regarding Between Sinners and Saints.
You can still enter to win The Pharaoh’s Concubine by Z.A. Maxfield. Go here. And don’t forget that Rachel Haimowitz will be here on January 17th as part of her Anchored Release Blog Tour! There will be prizes, so make sure you stop by!
Merry Christmas!
Hello, and Merry Christmas! I thought about having Cole do an update, but he’s off in Paris, and darling, he simply couldn’t be bothered. I guess you’ll have to settle for me.
I can’t quite believe it’s Christmas Eve. While the rest of the world was preparing for the holiday, I was packing. My family and I moved into a new house just last week, on December 18th. We’re still surrounded by boxes that have yet to be unpacked, but we did manage to get the tree up, and tomorrow morning we’ll be hosting Christmas brunch for our entire family (DH’s side and mine).
And yes, since you asked, I apparently am insane.
What’s coming up in the new year?
On January 4th, my friend Scarlett Parrish will officially become a m/m author with the release of her latest book, By the Book, from Loose Id.
You all may remember her last release, which coincided with the release of The Letter Z. We had Cole interview her (regrettably straight) male protag. We had Piper interview Angelo. Will such shenanigans be repeated? Honestly, I have no idea. But anything is possible.
Sometime around January 17th, Rachel Haimowitz will be here to promote her latest novel, Anchored. Make sure you stop by. I hear there will be giveaways involved!
On February 14th, you’ll finally get what so many of you have been asking for: more of Matt and Jared! Their Valentine’s Day short, Putting Out Fires, will be released by Dreamspinner Press. (That reminds me: have you checked the links on the sidebar carefully? I added something new and completely silly a few weeks ago).
On February 15th, Heidi Cullinan’s Nowhere Ranch will be released by Loose Id. I’ve read this one, and let me tell you, it is HOT. Maybe we’ll have some cross-promotional fun for our back-to-back releases. Depends on how energetic we’re feeling.
In April, Paris A to Z will be released by Dreamspinner Press. I am so excited about this release. I probably won’t have cover art for a couple more months, but I’ll be sure to post it as soon as I have it.
Also in April, my good friend Ethan Stone will have not one, but TWO new novels released by Dreamspinner Press: Flesh and Blood, and Wolf Moon.
Between Sinners and Saints is still in limbo. I don’t think there’s any doubt that it will be published. It’s more a matter of WHO will be publishing it. I’ll let you know as soon as I can.
What am I working on now? Well, I’m trying something new. It’s sort of fantasy, sort of paranormal. It involves a twinkish artistic type and a burly cowboy. There will be bondage. It’s a real departure from my comfort zone, in more ways than one, so we’ll see how it goes. Right now, between moving and the holidays, I’m not having much luck getting any writing done at all, but hopefully I’ll be able to get back in the swing of things early next year.
And now, I suppose I must get my ass in gear. There is still a lot to be done for tomorrow. Whatever holiday you celebrate this time of year, I hope it is fun and joyous. And I will leave you now with this:

Merry Christmas!!
In the Flesh
Ethan Stone’s novel In the Flesh is available now!
Reno Detective Cristian Flesh lives his life by a strict set of personal rules, preferring one-time flings and anonymous encounters to committed relationships. His rules work for him… until his life is turned upside down when first, a former lover, a famous televangelist, is attacked, and then one of his one-night stands is murdered, making Cristian the prime suspect.
When handsome lawyer Colby Maddox takes his case, Cristian finds himself wanting to break all his rules about relationships. The instant attraction between them is undeniable. But before they can contemplate any kind of future together, they’ll have to clear Cristian’s name by finding the real murderer.

Phew!!
Strawberries for Dessert has been out for almost a week, and so far the feedback has been overwhelmingly good. I’m actually a bit floored by just HOW good. But I’m not complaining! I want to thank every one of you who has bought it and/or read it, and everybody who’s left a comment or sent me an email. I really, truly appreciate it.
Tomorrow morning, my good friend Ethan Stone will be here and we’ll be heading off to Rocky Mountain Folk Festival. Yes, this is the same Folk Fest where I first dreamed up Zach, and the beginnings of A to Z. And it’s the same Folk Fest that Zach takes Angelo to in A to Z, where they meet Matt and Jared for the first time. Early next week, I should have some pics of Ethan and I to share.
I always lose motivation during a release, so I haven’t accomplished anything meaningful this past week. I have three projects going at the moment, which is new for me. I usually only work on one thing at a time. I’m not sure how to handle it. My plan right now is to NOT handle it at all. I’ll go to Folk Fest, and maybe my brain will brew something up.
Then again, maybe it won’t.
Being Taught
Being Taught by Ethan Stone is available now from Dreamspinner Press.
Note: This picture has nothing to do with Ethan’s story. I just thought it might get your attention.
Working on something new
Do you all get tired of these random updates? For better or worse, I seem to do a lot of them.
Well, here goes…
One More Soldier has been out for a week now, and so far most of the feedback has been very good. I knew this story wouldn’t necessarily appeal to everybody. Then again, what story does?
Strawberries for Dessert will be released on August 6th by Dreamspinner Press. I’m so excited about this book! I hope you all love it as much as a few of my beta readers.
My good friend Ethan Stone is only days away from officially being a published author! I’m so excited for him. Be sure to check out his story Being Taught, available from Dreamspinner Press on July 28th. Ethan’s first novel, In the Flesh, will be available on August 27th.
Some of you are probably wondering about the Paris story. This is the third (and hopefully final) book for Zach and Angelo, and the good news is, I finished it a couple of weeks ago. The bad news is, it’s really not up to par. There’s something wrong with it, but I’m not sure exactly what. So, for the time being at least, that story is on hold. I will finish it eventually, I promise. Angelo would never let me abandon him completely.
Right now I’m working on a yet-unnamed story about a massage therapist and a playboy. Here. Let me introduce you. This is Jaime:
And this is Levi:
Aren’t they lovely? Together, they’re weighing in about 25,000 words right now, which is the point where the story always starts to feel less like fun and more like pulling teeth. But I’ll keep writing and hoping that the pieces will eventually fall into place. Because, let’s face it, those two men are hot. And together, they’re absolutely smoking.
I’ll be back on the 28th to remind you to buy Ethan’s story. Then starting on the 29th, I believe there will be a contest over at Stumbling Over Chaos for a copy of Strawberries for Dessert. On August 1st (or was it the 2nd?), I have some guests stopping by on a blog tour. And then it will be August 6th – time to break out the Arbor Mist and celebrate! I can’t wait!
