In Case You Missed It

I’m home from Italy now, and thought I should mention a couple of things that happened while I was gone.

First and foremost, Second Hand is now available from Riptide Publishing. You can buy it here. The Tucker Springs website has moved, and has also been completely updated. It used to be at tuckersprings.wordpress.com. It can now be found at www.TuckerSprings.com. Soon, we’ll have an interactive map and all kinds of fun details about the people and places in Tucker Springs.

Last, I wanted to officially announce that Samhain has picked up Family Man. This is the first novel Heidi and I started together, but we didn’t actually finish it until after Second Hand. It is scheduled for release in March, 2013.

Now that I’m home, I have all kinds of work I need to do. I have Release, my kinky cyberpunk story that is currently nearly 2/3 complete. I have my next Tucker Springs novel, which features Nick, the hot veterinarian. (I added the picture that inspired him, just in case you wondered what he looks like in my head.) I also need to dream up a short story for an anthology I’m halfway committed to. And as if that’s not enough, I have Tristan and Valero in my brain, reminding me of the sequel I dreamed up for them ages ago. Not really sure which of those projects will ever see completion, but my fingers are crossed for them all.

  1. Who is next in the Tucker Springs series for you and Heidi?

    • Marie Sexton says:

The next book in the series will be Heidi’s Dirty Laundry.

After that, we’re not exactly sure if it will be Lori or me. We’re both working on our next books, but hers (Cover They Neighbor) will probably be finished first. Then will be mine (which still doesn’t have a title). I think both Heidi and Lori have ideas for books after that, as well.

  2. My review of Second Hand goes up today at http://scatteredthoughtsandroguewords.com

    How I loved this book.

The trip paid off! You’ve hit the ground running. Looking forward to all the new works. Also, Amazon has Second Hand for sale now.

    Welcome home! Pictures?

    • Marie Sexton says:

Thanks! I probably should post some pictures. As for hitting the ground running…. well, I need to actually START writing now. LOL. Heidi and I spent the last couple of days doing edits and paperwork for Family Man. Time for me to actually get to work.

Tristan and Valero sequel? I will pay you to write this as a top priority. ;)
