I’m starting something new here at MarieSexton.net. Some of you may be familiar with Six Sentence Sunday Blog Hop, or Sunday Snog Blog Hop. This is the same idea, except it’s in celebration of snarky characters. Each Saturday (or at least, on the weeks I remember), I’ll post a snarky comment from one of my books. Readers, at the bottom of the post you will (hopefully) find a list of links to snarky comments at other authors’ sites. Follow along. Comment often!
Without further ado, your snark, courtesy of Cole:
“All-you-can-eat bacon really is preferable to eternal salvation, isn’t it?”
Get a whole lot more of Cole’s snark in Strawberries for Dessert.
Authors, I encourage you to share some snark. Put up a quick post on your blog with a snarky line (or two or three) from one of your books. Be sure you enter your link into the linky tool below. Also, be sure to include a link back to this post so your readers can check out all the snarky links. (Feel free to grab that banner up above to use, too. Many thanks to Laura for making it for me!)
Readers, please keep checking back for new links!
(As this is my first time using this linky thing, I’m really hoping it works. If not, I apologize in advance! Also, there’s some way you can get the whole code for your own site, but since this is my first time, I’m not exactly sure how that works.)
Readers, I hope you’ll check out the links, leave lots of comments, and hopefully find a brand new author to explore! Happy hopping!

/ November 5, 2011Thanks for starting these Marie. I just stumbled across them yesterday on Jessica Freely’s site. I am chasing them all down this morning. I LOVE SNARK. Mind you I always had called them “Witty Dialogue” in a Noel Coward kind of way.

/ September 20, 2011I finally made it back to read the rest of the snarkers. I loved this, Marie. Please remember again soon (I have a backlog of snark).
Thanks-
Anne

/ September 17, 2011I debated about using a whole conversation or going for the one liner. Went with the second, although it’s a really long line. Maybe next week….

/ September 17, 2011My bit is probably way too big, but both Paris and Roan revel in snarkiness. It’s one of the things they had in common.

Giselle Renarde
/ September 17, 2011I just wrote a book about hipsters. How could I NOT participate? LOL
