I’ve been back from RT for several days now, although I still haven’t unpacked. As always, RT was fun but exhausting. Shockingly, I seem to have spent most of my time in the bar. Here are a few pictures.
I really enjoyed wandering around Mardi Gras World, and it’s alway great to hang out with friends I only see once or twice a year.
Now that I’m home, I guess it’s time to get back to work. There’s the aforementioned unpacking to do, of course. Also, I found out when I checked in at the Denver airport that my license is expired. Thank goodness TSA still lets you board the plane, as long as it’s not more than a year past its expiration, but that means I get to spend today standing in line at the DMV. Excellent. What more could I ask for, right?
I’m down to crunch time on my dark, kinky, semi-cyberpunk novel, Release. Yes, this is the one I’ve been prattling on about for nearly two years now. It’s in edits, and I’m awaiting the final artwork. I should have a cover to share within the next week or two, and (even better) the book should be available for pre-order (on certain sites) by the end of the month. Release will be available June 24, 2014. Don’t forget, I’m publishing this under a slightly different pen name, A.M. Sexton. If you missed that news, you can read my full explanation here.
I’ll be at Denver Pride on June 21 and 22. If you’re in town that weekend (perhaps for RomCon?), please stop by and see us. I’ll be with the Out in Colorado crew, which includes (but is not limited to) M.L. Rhodes, Caitlin Ricci, Cari Z, George Seaton, and Carter Quinn. I’ll also have advance paperback copies of Release available.
Speaking of Out in Colorado, we attended the NOH8 photo shoot in Denver back in March. Check it out.
That’s all I have for today, but stay tuned for cover art and pre-order information for Release!
